Role Overview The Senior Platform Engineer leads the design, development, and evolution of platform services, automation solutions, and cloud-native engineering capabilities that improve software delivery, reliability, scalability, security, and developer productivity. This role drives the creation of reusable platform products, shared services, self-service capabilities, and intelligent automation solutions while establishing engineering standards and best practices. This role specializes in SDLC automation and intelligent engineering, leveraging modern practices to accelerate software delivery and improve platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities Lead the design and evolution of scalable engineering platforms, products, and shared services, and architect reusable APIs, SDKs, and frameworks.

Lead development of intelligent automation solutions across the AI-Driven Development Lifecycle and architect scalable automation frameworks.

Lead development of AI-powered engineering capabilities, autonomous workflows, and developer experiences, including the implementation of AI agents and orchestration frameworks.

Lead initiatives that improve developer experience through self-service platforms and build reusable templates and automation assets.

Lead the integration of platform capabilities into engineering workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and operations, designing highly available and observable platform solutions.

Design and implement platform-wide security controls and governance capabilities, establishing secure-by-design practices and automated compliance controls.

Required Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field of study, or equivalent relevant work experience is required.

Experience:

This role requires 5-8 years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, cloud engineering, Dev Ops, automation engineering, or related disciplines. Proven experience designing and delivering scalable platform solutions and leading technical initiatives is necessary.

Certifications:

One of the following certifications is required: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader.

Technical

Skills:

Hands-on experience with modern programming languages, cloud-native technologies, automation frameworks, and engineering platforms is required.

Preferred Qualifications Relevant industry certifications in cloud platforms, Dev Ops, platform engineering, software development, automation, AI/ML, or data engineering are preferred.
