Mainframe Developer; Intern

Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams.

Facilitate discussions with sponsors, product owners, architects, and delivery teams. Application development experience in Design, coding, testing and debugging with mainframe skills such as CICS, VSAM, COBOL, DB2, JCL, AWS database(Postgress, Dynamo DB)

Programming, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, ensuring quality of deliverables

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions are aligned with business objectives

Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner

Conduct Code Reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and follow best practices

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Amazon Web Service(AWS) Cloud Computing:
ReactJS Advanced Java Concepts:
Spring Boot Angular 13+~Core Java.

• Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and modify mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL
• Perform coding, component testing, assembly testing, debugging, and production support activities
• Develop and maintain program specifications and technical documentation
• Conduct unit testing and participate in system and user acceptance testing
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions
• Support maintenance and enhancement efforts for existing applications
• Participate in database conversion and modernization efforts as needed
• Work under the direction of the Information Technology Office Project Manager or designated representative

  Languages:
  
  Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
• Databases:
  Solid experience working with DB2 (including writing SQL queries) and VSAM.
• Mainframe Tools:
  Familiarity with utilities such as TSO/ISPF, Changeman or Endevor (for version control), and debugging tools (like Xpediter or IBM Debugger).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
