We are currently looking for our newest Registered Respiratory Therapist to work at South Florida Baptist Hospital, part of the Bay Care Health System network.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department s scope of services to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with hospital protocols, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Performs diagnostic testing; provides Emergency care/Adult critical care.

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist License)
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal) - within 6 months of start date
• ACLS (Cardiovascular)
• PALS (Pediatric) - within 6 months of start date

• Technical Respiratory Therapy Degree
• Associates Degree - Respiratory Therapy

• 6 months minimum

• Clinical and computer skills appropriate to the position
• Collaborate and work well with a team
• Critical thinking skills
• Advanced Respiratory Assessment and Evaluations
