As a Warehouse Chair Assembler Associate
, the primary function of this position is to assemble and inspect all chairs that are received unassembled from our vendors in a timely and safe manner. The Chair Assembler Associate will be required to work with a variety of hand tools and stand for long hours. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Operations Department at CITY Furniture.

• Position Title: Warehouse Chair Assembler
• Location: Plant City, FL
• Reports To: Operations Manager
• Department: Operations
• Pay Rate: $16.00/hr

• Assemble chairs following the instruction sheet for the chair type, using proper material handling and equipment usage techniques to minimize damages
• Wrap assembled chairs in bags using proper material handling techniques to minimize damages
• Unpack cartons and place components on the assembly table according to the prescribed template
• Inspect chairs and touch up minor imperfections
• Inspect components for damages
• Assist in other departments within the distribution center

• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical ability test

• No High-school diploma required
• No previous experience required

• 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM (Sunday & Monday off)
• 40 Hours per week
• 0% Travel

• Lifting up to 75 lbs+, bending, prolonged standing and walking
• Use of safety equipment

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• WMS – High Jump (preferred but not required)
• AS400 (preferred but not required)
• Director (preferred but not required)
