St. Gregory the Great Catholic School in Plantation, Florida is accepting applications for a qualified Elementary Teacher for the upcoming 2025-26 school year, grades K-5. The applicant must be a dynamic and innovative educator with the ability to develop lessons that cultivate critical thinking skills, design instruction to motivate and engage all learners, and develop cross-curricular units. The Elementary School Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.

• BS / BA degree in Education or Elementary Education.
• FDOE certificate in grades K-6, temporary or professional required.
• Must be flexible in assessing needs and strategies and adapt appropriately in a ministerial environment.
• Demonstrate collaboration in a professional learning community to develop, implement and continuously improve the effectiveness of the curriculum and instruction for high student achievement.
• Must have excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
