Job Summary and Qualifications Performs therapeutic, diagnostic and supportive respiratory care procedures. Provide services, timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department. Evaluates physician orders and clinical data related to respiratory care of patients. Assesss patients respiratory status, effectiveness of therapy, and recommends modification as needed. Perform tasks and duties within their approved scope of service, following established policies and procedures, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations/laws.

Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative skills are inherent in this position. Must be proficient in the treatment of, and knowledge of all types of respiratory disorders, and must be able to utilize various types of media for therapy (mechanical ventilation, nebulizers, CPT, etc.)What qualifications you will need:

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date(RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner Associate Degree
