The mission of the Israeli-American Council (IAC) is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens the Israeli and Jewish identity of our next generation, the American Jewish community, and the bond between the peoples of the United States and the state of Israel.

The IAC Community Engagement Manager (CEM) will lead community engagement efforts in west Broward County, building meaningful relationships and expanding IAC's presence, relevance, and impact in the local community. This area is home to a vibrant Israeli-American and Jewish community with many established organizations, programs, and community initiatives. The CEM will develop a deep understanding of the local community, identify opportunities and unmet needs, cultivate meaningful relationships, and create initiatives that bring people together around IAC's mission.

The role requires ownership of initiatives from concept through execution and follow-up, while working collaboratively with and receiving support from the Regional Director, IAC staff, lay leaders, volunteers, and community partners.

The successful candidate will identify opportunities for differentiation and develop programs and engagement strategies that deliver meaningful value and expand IAC's impact.

This is a 25-hour-per-week position, and he/she will report directly to the South Florida Regional Director.

• Develop a deep understanding of the local community, its needs, opportunities, and key stakeholders.

• Serve as a visible and professional representative of IAC at community events, meetings, and initiatives.
