SummaryThe Assistant Dean of Students and Title IX Coordinator supports the mission and goals of the Dean of Students Office at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville by providing general leadership to student life and assisting in defining, interpreting, and implementing goals and objectives for the Dean of Students office. The Assistant Dean of Students is responsible for serving as the Title IX Coordinator for the university, assisting with student conduct, and delivering services to students that promote their academic and personal development.
The salary for this position is $80,000.
- Title IX Coordination: Serve as the institution's designated Title IX Coordinator, acting as primary point of contact for complaints, conducting intake meetings, coordinating with deputy coordinators, investigators, and parties throughout the Title IX process.
- Administrative Support: Assist in development and implementation of operating policies and procedures to comply with regulations, participate in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and ombuds services, serve as unit liaison among internal and external stakeholders, evaluate unit program and service effectiveness, provide recommendations for improvement, support the Dean of Students in campus risk management, advocacy, and administrative needs (including office management in the Dean’s absence), development and programming to increase awareness of campus issues, and serve on university committees.
- Student Conduct: Serve as one of the primary student conduct officers for UW‑Platteville main campus and UW‑Platteville Baraboo Sauk County, enforce campus policies and codes of conduct, and serve as a resource for staff, faculty, and students regarding conduct matters.
