Delta 3 Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated person for a full-time position with the firm as a Wastewater/Environmental Engineer
. The applicant must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a Wastewater background or similar educational qualifications and the ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in the State of Wisconsin or Iowa.

Job description

Conduct comprehensive engineering planning, design, analysis and operational studies of water and wastewater process and treatment systems. Fully knowledgeable and capable of preparing project bidding documents for municipal water and wastewater projects including plans, specifications, cost estimates, permit applications, and schedules for completeness, accuracy, and soundness of applied engineering principles and standards and policies. Provides guidance and work supervision for drafting designers and junior engineers as required by projects.

Oversee and review construction of wastewater and water projects. Perform troubleshooting of wastewater and water operational issues.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering from accredited engineering program with wastewater background.
  • Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Wisconsin or Iowa.
  • Experience with modeling concepts, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently.
  • Understanding of local, state and national regulations.
  • Ability to interpret national and local codes and standards to insure compliance.
  • Must be team-oriented and capable of working with other staff members.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as required
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our company’s insurance provider
