Part Time Cook (Part-Time (12 or more hours per week))
Current Openings: Platteville, WI
Hours: 7a-3p or 10a-6p including EOW
Shift: AM Shift (7a-3p or 6a-2p)

Salary Range: $18-22/hr+
Our Cooks bring warmth and comfort to our seniors by preparing homemade meals and desserts from scratch, ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious and delicious dining experiences every day. This special role also encompasses light housekeeping duties, including general cleaning of resident rooms and community areas. We are always looking for talented, dependable, and passionate individuals who take pride in their craft to join our valued team.
Shift: 7a-3p or 10a-6p including Every Other Weekend
Salary Range: $18-22/hr + Based on Experience
Cook responsibilities include (but are not limited to):- Promoting the comfort, privacy and dignity of each resident by providing customized, nutritious and appealing meals in a homelike environment
- Demonstrating warmth, compassion and patience by socializing with the residents while in the dining room
- Ensuring kitchen and food safety
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and dining room
- Demonstrates warmth, compassion and patience by socializing with residents
- General cleaning of resident rooms including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathroom, removing garbage, etc.
- General cleaning of all-purpose areas (foyer, hallways, laundry, dining room, shower rooms, activity room, living rooms, beauty shop, stairwell and dry storage) including sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning floors, dusting furniture, washing windows, polishing metalwork, dusting blinds, etc.
- Cleans and prepares rooms for admissions per housekeeping checklist
- Waters plants in common areas and resident rooms
- General knowledge of cooking techniques, portion control and nutrition
- Cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Support up to 100 pounds
