Overview
The City of Platteville (pop. 11,800) is seeking a City Manager. The City Manager is the chief executive officer for the City, responsible for planning, developing, operating, and maintaining the municipal government.
Responsibilities- Lead the city’s executive functions and provide strategic direction.
- Oversee planning, budgeting, and program development.
- Manage a diverse team of subordinates and department heads.
- Champion community development initiatives.
- A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in local government preferred.
- Experience in community development and team management.
