• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Care Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: March 8, 2026
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:30pm – 7:00am), rotating schedule
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend; 2 out of 3 major holidays required (Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year's)
• Orientation: 2 days
• Floating: Required to hospital floors, nursery, and ER
• Documentation System: EPIC
• Medication System: Pyxis
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2140 - $2290

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• At least 1 year of hospital respiratory care experience
• Current NY Respiratory Therapist license (or proof of application)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Recent EPIC documentation experience (within past 2 years)
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory care
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle (public transportation not accessible)
• Prepared for winter driving conditions (all-season or snow tires recommended November–April)

• Deliver respiratory care to neonates, pediatric, and adult patients in a Level II Trauma hospital
• Operate and manage ventilators (Puritan Bennett 980 & 840, LTV
  1200), ABG equipment, and other respiratory therapy devices
• Float to various hospital units including nursery and ER as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
• Adhere to hospital dress code (black or ceil blue scrubs, closed non-skid shoes, minimal jewelry, groomed hair/beard)
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing training
• Support the hospital’s commitment to safety and clinical excellence
