- Visiting multiple job sites weekly; conducting roof inspections and meet with clients to assess completion, address any concerns and many other tasks on site.
- Be able to review proposals, and contracts to accurately and make adjustments based on these documents to execute a project contract.
- must be able to read blueprints and specifications.
- Compute cost factors used for planning, organizing, scheduling work, selecting vendors and/or subcontractors, and determining cost-effectiveness.
- Consult with Estimator for every job the Project Manager will manage to have knowledge of the manufacturer, and specefic requirements for the job.
- Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and processes of improvement.
- Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements for all change orders.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. The Project Manager must be able to set up a ladder and get on the roof to collect data. Must be able to bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs if necessary.
- Request material quotes for all projects when necessary.
- Manage Superintendents and roofing labor contractors
- Work closely with the estimator.
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
