New Age Manufacturing, a family-operated job shop for any manufacturing need, is seeking a CNC Machinist in Plattsmouth, NE to join their team.

• Receive and implement job instructions such as CNC programs, setup sheets, tool lists, job routings, part drawings, and in-process inspection requirements.
• Verify that correct materials and tooling are staged and available.
• Accurately follow setup instructions and complete all required Quality Control verifications, including first-article inspections and documentation using NAM forms as required.
• Select, install, and secure all fixtures and work holding devices.
• Load CNC programs and enter tool lengths, offsets, tool-load limits, and other necessary data.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make adjustments to maintain efficiency and product quality.
• Run production programs, perform dimensional checks, and adjust processes to maintain compliance with specifications.
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to ensure they meet all cosmetic and quality standards.
• Operate CNC mills or lathes through setup and production phases.
• Collaborate with Programming and Quality Control to optimize machining processes and resolve technical issues.
• Train and instruct CNC Machine Operators on running production jobs following setup completion.
• Follow all required safety practices for CNC machining and shop operations.
• Participate in continuing job training and skill development.

New Age specializes in the production of precision machined parts from metals including aluminum, stainless steel, copper, bronze etc. as well as plastics such as PFA, PTFE, UHMW, Teflon, acrylics etc. Many of these parts are used in analytic testing equipment in industrial, scientific and medical environments.

Formerly known as New Age Prototypes, Inc. New Age continues to work with its customers in the development of prototypes and then in the large-scale production of the resulting products. Parts machined by New Age have flown on the space shuttle and some are even now located on the International Space Station. Other parts machined by New Age are in medical and material testing and sampling equipment located throughout the United States and around the world.
