Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 / year

Unmatched Comp Time Policy: Hours worked over 40 in a week are paid at the usual hourly rate or can be banked as additional PTO.
Core Responsibilities- Review and approve employee expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Help employees understand expense guidelines and required documentation
- Work with team members to correct or clarify expense submissions
- Learn how expenses are categorized for internal reporting and compliance purposes
- Keep clear records to support audits and internal reviews
- Suggest improvements when you notice recurring questions or issues
- Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist team with process improvements
- Other accounting related duties as assigned
- Proficiency in MS Office, 10‑key by touch
- Thorough understanding of general ledger accounting practices
- Outstanding attention to detail, proactive follow‑up
- Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple complex tasks in a fast‑paced, changing environment
- Professional appearance, written and verbal skills
- Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or demonstrated proven equivalent experience)
- 1–5 years of related work experience; engineering, construction, or architectural experience is highly preferred
- Preference given to those with Deltek software experience, especially Vantagepoint
