Accounting, Accordia Bank is seeking a detail-oriented PT Accounts Payable Clerk to support the Accounting team through accurate invoice processing, vendor maintenance, payment preparation, and month-end accounting activities. This role is ideal for a dependable professional who enjoys working with financial data, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to strong internal controls within a community-focused banking environment.

• Receive, review, and accurately process vendor invoices and employee reimbursement requests.
• Verify approvals and ensure proper department and general ledger coding.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9 documentation and supporting files.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly payment runs, including ACH transactions and checks.
• Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• 1-2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a part-time schedule.

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Experience working in banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with accounts payable automation platforms or ERP systems.
