MRI & CT Technologist

Position Summary

RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is looking for a PRN MRI/CT Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will operate a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner to produce images of the patient’s body for diagnostic purposes.

• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for diagnosis and treatment with minimal supervision.
• Screen patients for precautions or contraindications and prepare them for scans, explaining procedures and positioning.
• Adjust scan parameters and maintain accurate records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, supporting accreditation requirements.
• Assist with equipment upkeep, protocol updates, inventory management, and staff training.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, and family members; uphold professional standards and customer service excellence.

• Maintain equipment in good working order; clean and disinfect after each use.
• Assist with updating the MRI protocol manual, managing software upgrades, and monitoring supply inventory.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• ARRT registered technologist in good standing.
• ARRT advanced MR certification.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist (state, if applicable).
• Current CPR certification.
• Training and experience sufficient to perform MR and/or radiographic procedures independently.
• Exposure to a magnetic field.

• Bilingual.
