Laborer - Peds Shop

Position Summary

The Laborer in EZARC's Pedestals Shop supports the preparation of semiconductor pedestal products for fabrication and shipment to customers. This role is responsible for performing packaging duties, assisting with drilling and tapping operations, and operating a forklift as needed. The Laborer plays a key part in ensuring products are completed, packaged, and shipped accurately and safely, while meeting EZARC's quality standards.

• Perform packaging of pedestals and related components according to company procedures to ensure safe delivery to customers.
• Conduct basic drilling and tapping operations under supervision, ensuring accuracy and quality of work.
• Assist with quality checks on finished products before packaging and shipment.
• Operate a forklift safely to move materials, components, or finished goods as assigned (training/certification provided if needed).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies.
• Follow instructions from the Packaging Lead and Shop Supervisor to complete tasks on schedule.
• Perform other general labor duties in support of shop operations as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment helpful but not required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Forklift experience preferred; willingness to become certified required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Commitment to working safely and maintaining product quality.

• Work performed primarily in a fabrication and packaging shop environment.
• Requires standing, bending, lifting, and handling of materials throughout the shift.
• May occasionally operate machinery and powered equipment.
