A Day in the Life of the Sales Development Representative

In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of the sales process—prospecting, qualifying, and engaging potential customers to generate high-quality sales opportunities. You’ll work closely with sales leadership and account executives to drive pipeline growth and support the company’s revenue goals. This position plays a critical role in expanding brand awareness and helping businesses improve how they communicate with their customers.

Responsibilities include:
  • Prospecting, educating, qualifying, and developing leads from trade shows, webinars, and outbound efforts
  • Making a high volume of strategic outbound calls and emails each day (100+ each day)
  • Clearly and confidently telling the Kenect story to prospective customers
  • Aligning solutions to prospect business needs and objectives
  • Scheduling meetings and demos for sales partners
  • Collaborating closely with sales and leadership to support pipeline and career growth goals
Requirements and

Qualifications:
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated mindset
  • Coachable, driven, and eager to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
  • Prior sales or sales development experience is preferred, but not required
