Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and caring Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate has an associate's degree from a certified school, previous experience as a Dental Assistant, and is friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and answer questions and concerns.
  • Take vital signs and record medical history accurately.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental equipment and instruments.
  • Monitor patient comfort during procedures.
  • Assist the dentist during procedures and exams.
  • Maintain accurate records and treatment notes.
  • Prepare dental materials for use.
  • Manage inventory and restock materials as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Provide chairside assistance, anticipating the dentist's needs.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Participate in post-operative care and follow-up.
  • Take x-rays.
  • Qualifications:

    • Coronal Polishing and Radiograph license, certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
    • Strong computer and data entry skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to provide high-quality patient care.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Ability to work both front and back office.
    • Spanish speaking proficiency.
    • Proficient in Dentrix software.
