The Pleasant Hill R-III Board of Education is seeking candidates for the position of Superintendent. The Board authorized a transition plan to replace the current superintendent at the end of the  school year. The new superintendent will begin on July 1, 2027 and take the leadership role in community relations, goal setting, facility planning, curriculum development, and personnel.

• Evidence of Missouri Superintendent's Certification or eligibility thereof
• Any other supporting documents that would enhance the application file
• Requires candidate to live within 25 miles of the Pleasant Hill R-3 district.

• Superintendent or Central Office experience preferred
• Superintendent's Certificate required
• Doctorate required
• Ten years experience in education with at least 3 years in educational administration
• Salary range: $150,000 - $170,000 depending on experience and education
• Initial contract:
  Multiple year, 2 years considered
