Hiring for all Shifts - Full Time, Part-Time & PRN -- 12-hour shifts

Thrive Now Recovery Centers, in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services, is committed to helping individuals overcome substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. We’re opening our newest facility in April 2025 and are building a dedicated team to bring our mission to life.

Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who wants to make a meaningful impact in substance use disorder treatment? We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled nurse to provide essential medical care and support to individuals on their recovery journey.

• Conduct Medical Assessments – Complete intake assessments including vitals, medical history, interviews, and drug screenings.
• Administer Medications – Dispense medications according to treatment plans and monitor for effectiveness.
• Educate Patients – Provide clear guidance on medications and health information to support recovery.
• Maintain Documentation – Generate and reconcile monthly MARs and ensure accurate records.
• Support Facility Operations – Assist with administrative tasks, front desk coverage, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Assist with Diagnostics – Support the medical team with tests and procedures.
• Provide Family Education – Help patients and families understand care plans and treatment expectations.
• Contribute to Team Goals – Collaborate with Recovery Support Specialists and other staff to ensure high-quality care.

• Current Iowa LPN license
• At least 6 months of experience as an LPN; experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment is a plus
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic environment
