ICU RN Job Details- Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin 53158
- Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), First Floor
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: December 29, 2025
- End Date: March 30, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Nursing Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend
- Hours per Week: 36
- Number of Openings: 4
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,090–$2,150 per week
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Active Wisconsin or Compact RN license (required at submission)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be in hand at submission)
- Strong CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) skills
- Travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Ability to float to IMCU (stepdown) as needed
- Two supervisor references from the past year, including one from most recent/current assignment
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Latex allergies cannot be accommodated
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU
- Manage and monitor patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Perform advanced ICU procedures: arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, and CRRT
- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias
- Administer emergency medications and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips
- Assist with chest tube insertion/removal, fresh tracheostomy care, and post-surgical management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Float to IMCU (stepdown) unit as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic (preferred)
