10 is seeking a Senior SQL DBA for a full-time, permanent position with a client located in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Summary:

Are you a project leader who enjoys mentoring others? As a Senior SQL DBA, you'll support and optimize database solutions for one of North America's top distributors of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials. This role involves driving performance, reliability, and scalability in SQL Server environments while collaborating with application teams and leading database administration initiatives.

97k-135k a year.

• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, database design, and related techniques.
• Partner with application development teams to ensure optimal application and database performance.
• Participate in high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) tests for critical systems.
• Ensure all databases and database objects are properly backed up and that recovery procedures are tested and documented.
• Support, upgrade, and patch database management systems and related applications.
• Lead, guide, and mentor members of the database administration team to ensure best practices and continuous growth.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a SQL Server environment.
• Proficient in replication technologies such as SQL Replication and SSIS, with basic data modeling experience.
• Strong expertise in HA/DR solutions, including Always On and traditional clustering technologies.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
