We are seeking a Systems Architect to lead the design and architecture of enterprise systems, including IBM i, open systems, and storage platforms. This role involves collaborating across disciplines to define scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions that align with business and technical requirements.

• Gather and analyze requirements from application development and cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical leadership, strategic guidance, and architectural expertise for assigned initiatives.
• Design and architect system solutions, including conducting Proof of Concept (POC) testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with other teams to develop architectural models prior to POC execution.
• Document, implement, and review IT policies, procedures, and architectural standards.
• Promote and facilitate discovery activities to identify system architecture improvements.
• Present architectural findings to management and staff to ensure alignment and continuity.
• Champion risk management practices, including disaster avoidance, change control, and problem management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, consistent with the scope of this role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred)

• 8+ years of experience working with multiple operating systems and enterprise infrastructure

• Relevant certifications in system architecture or infrastructure technologies are a plus

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively
• Willingness to travel to domestic and international branch locations as needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to operate effectively within a matrixed and global organization
• Consistent and reliable attendance

• Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs occasionally (30-60%)
• Vision Requirements: Close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
• Noise Level: Typically quiet to moderate
• Other Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, handle objects, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
