Job Purpose:
The RMA Coordinator, under general supervision, coordinates the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process. Verifies the accuracy of sales orders, analyzes material requirements for RMA orders to plan and schedule repairs, updates databases, and prepares appropriate paperwork. Audits and reconciles inventory discrepancies, updates customers on return statuses, and may resolve A/R issues. May also provide customer-requested reports and order parts needed for repairs.
Natureof Duties:
- Log and process all RMA requests
- Process RMA requests through factory for repair or replacement
- Communicate with Program Management on status until closed
- Help maintain and establish processes to ensure RMAs are processed and closed timely
- Prioritize and manage multiple requests efficiently
- Escalate problems as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and monthly reports, document processes as needed
- Drive cost reductions through product and process improvements
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement in Rolled Throughput Yield (RTY)
- Collect data and analyze failures to address root causes
- Ensure products meet customer quality, reliability, and internal cost/delivery goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and bend for long periods
- Overtime is required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment preferred
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Greenbelt tools
- Extensive knowledge of Wave Solder, SMT, and electronic manufacturing processes
- Experience handling and testing RF components
- Detail-oriented
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
