Flexographic Press Assistant

Overview

Nosco is looking for a Flexographic Press Assistant on our 3rd shift at our Pleasant Prairie, WI Facility. As an employee owner in this position, you will expedite production activities and ensure an organized workflow takes place.

• Review the schedule, coordinate and organize production areas with the required components for the jobs.
• Assist in setup activities such as plate mounting, installing pans, rollers, anilox, etc.
• Assist the press operators when needed.
• Prepare and clean items for the next job such as removal of plate cylinders, metering rollers, etc.
• Identify defects and segregate appropriately.
• Understand safety and PPE.
• Understand Nosco’s quality system and expectations.

• 1-3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical printing industry is preferred.
• Able to use a PC and machine interface to gather and enter job related data in a CGMP environment.
• Participates in good communication with shift personnel. Follows direction for task assignments and remains attentive to changing requirements in a highly productive environment.
• Able to work overtime to meet internal and customer commitments, some weekends.
• Provide support with assigned tasks and perform tasks unsupervised to increase overall productivity.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
