Job Description
We’re hiring a hands‑on Maintenance Technician II for a stable manufacturing facility, offering competitive hourly pay, shift differential, and long‑term growth.
This role is fully onsite on 3rd shift and requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience on real industrial equipment. Candidates must be willing to complete a 2‑2.5 hour online assessment as part of the process.
What You’ll Do- Perform multi‑craft maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using systematic diagnostic methods
- Install and align mechanical drive systems
- Complete preventive maintenance, major services, and overhauls
- Replace failed components and adjust equipment to meet operational specifications
- Test electrical systems using meters and diagnostic tools
- Install/repair wiring, switch boxes, conduits, lighting, and related components
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history
- Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately
- 5+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical + electrical troubleshooting background
- Experience repairing physical equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret schematics, OEM manuals, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with CMMS and basic computer applications
- Familiarity with shop tools (drill press, band saw, power tools)
- Ability to read precision measuring devices
- High school diploma required; 2‑year technical degree preferred
- Ability to work 3rd shift and overtime
- Willingness to complete a 2‑2.5 hour online assessment
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
- Follow environmental procedures and handle materials responsibly
