Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Froedtert South is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join the dynamic and experienced Anesthesia team. Both new graduates and experienced CRNAs are encouraged to apply.

There are currently two options offered for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs):

1099 Independent Contractor Status or W-2 Full Time Status

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
:

• CRNAs will practice at the top of their license and have the opportunity to practice independently
• Develop and execute an effective anesthetic plan
• Monitor patients before, during and after a medical procedure
• Prepare operating rooms, set up equipment and supplies
• Providers may support affiliated ambulatory locations
• Case mix includes General Surgery, GYN, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, IR, EP, Cardiac, GI Endoscopies and Ophthalmology
• Other areas of coverage include 3 cath labs, 2 C-Section ORs, and 7 GI/Endoscopy rooms

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) and successful completion of a COA accredited CRNA program
• Must have a current Wisconsin license to practice as a Registered Nurse
• ACLS and PALS required
• Must be skilled in airway management techniques and chronic pain treatment
• Possess superb communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of current anesthesia practices and techniques
