Pre-Op/PACU Full Time in Palm Springs, CA.
We are searching for a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse who is qualified to perform patient care in more than one of the following areas:
Pre-op/PACU nurse obtains patient history and preparing patient for surgery as well as provide nursing care of the patient within the Operating Room and or Pre/Post Op‑anesthesia care.
Hourly wage: $45.00 - $65.00/hour
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications and experience.

Required Skills- Graduate of Accredited Nursing program.
- Active Registered Nursing License issued by the State of California.
- BLS certification required. (ACLS or PALS can be obtained within 3 months of hire)
- Minimum one year experience in surgical, critical care or outpatient surgery preferred.
El Mirador Surgery Center complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state of CA
- BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
- 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
