Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring night shifts and telemetry interpretation skills.
Responsibilities- Position is on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes adults requiring med/surg and telemetry monitoring
- Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Every other weekend work required
- Duties include providing comprehensive nursing care and monitoring telemetry patients
- First time travelers will be considered for this position
- Active WI or compact state RN license in hand
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required before interview
- Ability to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips
- At least two supervisor references from within the past year, including one from the most recent assignment
