Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Outpatient Clinic position requiring previous outpatient clinic experience and a WI or compact RN license.

• Active WI or compact RN license (pending license accepted with ETA of 3 weeks)
• BLS certification required, ACLS required at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification may be pending but must be completed during compliance
• Previous outpatient clinic experience required
• GI clinic experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Skills in patient assessment including vital signs, pain assessment, and medication reconciliation

• Outpatient clinic setting within an Internal Medicine and Triage specialty area
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Epic charting system required
• Duties include office tasks such as scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and telephone triage
• Responsibilities include patient teaching, medication refills, imaging results follow-up, and biohazard waste disposal
• Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance, with one from the most recent assignment or permanent position for certain unit types
• Badge photo (passport-style) required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Facility cannot accommodate travelers with latex allergies
• Travelers may return only after a minimum 1-year separation from a prior assignment
• Travel pairs accepted
