American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring hemodynamic monitoring and interventional procedure skills with on-call availability.
Requirements- Active WI or compact RN license (pending accepted at submission, must be obtained during compliance)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (NIHSS may be pending at submission but must be completed during compliance)
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Proficiency with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, including left/right heart catheterization and PCI
- Experience with IABP placement/removal and Impella insertion
- Experience with pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and cardiac stent placement
- Experience monitoring pulmonary artery lines/Swan Ganz catheters
- Experience with Rotablator atherectomy and cardiac implant closure devices
- Work in the Cath Lab department of an acute care hospital
- Floating to the Recovery unit as needed
- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Every 3rd weekend required
- On-call requirement
- 40 hours per week
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor hemodynamic status and manage procedural sedation
- Experience with vascular closure systems, sheath removal, and topical hemostasis agents
- Experience with EP procedures, TEE, valvuloplasty, VAD insertion, and Watchman procedures is a plus
- Experience with GI and genitourinary procedures is a plus
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
