Description:
The Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse.
The nurse will work within a community-based Emergency Department.
This unit sees every patient that arrives without admitting pediatrics or psychiatric patients.
Staff will provide care for all types of emergencies.
The facility has a Level 3 Trauma designation and is a Primary Stroke Center with tele-neurologists.
Additional support services include Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy.
The patient population includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
The unit operates with a daily census of approximately 120 patients.
Nurses will manage a patient ratio of 5 during the night shift.
The facility has a variety of equipment necessary for emergency care.
Two supervisor references will be required post-offer acceptance.
NIHSS certification may be achieved during compliance.
Completion of modules will be required during orientation.
