American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring tele strip interpretation skills and a WI or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• May float to IMCU (stepdown) as needed, within skill set
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Must be able to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips
• Travel experience required
• Skills required:
  
  IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, peripheral line care, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response/code team participation, isolation precautions/PPE, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
• Two supervisor references required, with specific timing and recency rules applying
• SSN, DOB, and RTO required for consideration

• Provide care to Med/Surg patients requiring telemetry monitoring and respiratory support
• Facility cannot accommodate travelers with latex allergies
• Travelers may return to this facility only after a minimum 1-year separation
• Travel pairs accepted
• Badge photo required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Orientation includes facility modules averaging 3-4 hours
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within 50 miles
