Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in an Intermediate Care Unit setting.
The role requires a minimum of two years of nursing experience.
Candidates must have active BLS and ACLS certifications.
NIHSS certification must be obtained during compliance.
The unit provides care to adult and geriatric patients.
Patient care involves various medical procedures and monitoring.
Responsibilities include managing cardiac telemetry and IV drips.
Experience with accessing and managing ports and central lines is needed.
Nurses will also be responsible for wound care and isolation precautions.
The position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
Travel experience is required for this role.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Candidates should be prepared for occasional weekend shifts as staffing needs arise.
This position does not accommodate travelers with latex allergies.
