Base pay range$17.00/hr – $20.00/hr
Responsibilities- Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
- Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Hold store keys, assist with and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the backdoor for deliveries.
- Register all related sales on assigned cash registers, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
- Assist manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions, reverse logistics, evaluating and developing displays, and completing resets and revisions.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and on‑hand quantities across departments and storage areas.
- Assist with ensuring the Outdate program is followed with team members.
- Perform basic pricing tasks, including daily price changes and local regulation compliance.
- Assist with bookkeeping activities such as cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payment.
- Maintain store cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance; request repairs as needed.
- Assist with food item separation, product placement, and stock rotation.
- Support pharmacy out‑window as requested.
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
- Conduct bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
- Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.
- Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members when management is absent.
- Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
- One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
- Knowledge of store inventory control.
- Consideration of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
- Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
