Assistant Store Manager
Location: Antioch, IL ·
Salary: $54,400.00 – $62,600.00 ·
Employment type: Full‑time ·
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level

What Your Day Looks Like- Lead & Inspire: Motivate and coach the team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a high‑energy, positive work environment.
- Drive Sales & Retention: Build strong customer relationships, resolve escalations, and recommend solutions that increase customer loyalty and sales.
- Develop Your Team: Recruit, train, and mentor team members, helping them grow their skills in a fast‑paced, goal‑driven setting.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance with company policies to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Create an Exceptional Customer
Experience:
Keep the store welcoming, organized, and reflective of Spectrum’s brand, ensuring top‑tier service for all guests. - Manage Inventory & Compliance: Control inventory, enforce company policies, and perform audits to minimize losses and keep the store running smoothly.
Fast‑paced retail environment with moderate noise. Physical demands include lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Required Skills & Knowledge- Fluent in English – read, write, and speak for in‑person, phone, and written communication.
- Significant retail store experience.
- Proven leadership and motivation skills in a goal‑and‑incentive‑based environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving ability.
- Comfortable with personal technology (mobile devices, video platforms).
- Proficient with computers and common software applications.
- Excellent time‑management and organization skills, able to handle multiple tasks and change.
- Willingness to work scheduled overtime as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of Sales/Customer Service experience.
- 1+ year management experience.
- 2–3 years of Telecommunications/Wireless experience.
- Familiarity with the latest technology and devices.
- Willingness to travel to other locations as business needs dictate.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications in sales training (a plus).
