Warehouse Night Shift Stand Up Forklift Operator

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Stand Up Forklift Operator.

Pay: $19.25 per hour.
Additional Pay: $2.00 per hour on second shift.
Pay Increase: $0.75 after 6 months of employment.

Schedule: Second Shift Wednesday – Saturday 4:00 pm – 4:00 am (half day on Wednesday).

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • 1 year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
  • Valid Forklift Operator’s License
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a diverse environment
  • Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance record
  • Initiative and high level of accuracy, even under pressure
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Flexible to work various shifts
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

Responsibilities:

  • Perform warehouse tasks: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
  • Follow performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
  • Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induce, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
  • Handle day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
