Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Stand Up Forklift Operator in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The role is full‑time and permanent.
Hourly Pay $19.25 per hour.
Additional Pay
: $1.00 per hour when assigned to second shift.
Pay Increase after 6 months $0.75, after 1 year $1.00.
Schedule
:
Sunday - Wednesday 4:00pm-4:00am, Wednesday is a half day (6 hours rotating 4:00pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm-4:00am).

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Valid forklift operator's license certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) and able to work within a diverse work environment.

- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work using health and safety methods.
- Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts.
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
- Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
- Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
- Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks.
- Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
- Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
