Warehouse Material Handler – Ryder System, Inc.
Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Wednesday - Saturday, 4:00 pm – 4:00 am (half day on Wednesday)
Pay: $19.25 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour on second shift, $0.75 increase after 6 months. Weekly pay.
Position DescriptionRyder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to support distribution across the US, handling medical supplies and operating stand‑up forklifts.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid forklift operator's license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Team player in a diverse work environment
- Professional relationship building across all levels of the organization
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Punctual with good attendance record
- Initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Accuracy under pressure
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Work using health and safety methods
- Flexible schedule availability across shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
- Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
- Maintain performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
- Handle day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
