LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Staff Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Pleasanton, CA. This position is 100% in-office and starts at 7:30am. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of accounting experience with expertise in accounts payable and general accounting including preparing and adjusting journal entries, bank reconciliations, GL account reconciliations, and knowledge and or experience with fixed assets, and assist on other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualificationsfor the job include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
- Software experience with Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics (GP) would be nice to have
- General Ledger experience (journal entries & account reconciliations)
- Strong Accounts Payable experience
- Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credits and general accounting (GAAP)
- Reliable, dedicated, and meets deadlines
- Team player, comfortable to work independently, and pleasant
- Reliable, dedicated, and meets deadlines
- Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized
- Solid communications (written & verbal)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Intermediate, Word & Outlook)
Experience:
3 or more years of experience as an Accountant

Pay: $34 to $38 DOE
