Job OverviewThis Junior Escrow Officer/Escrow Closing Assistant (on‑site) assists in reviewing commitments, ordering estoppels, pay‑offs, clearing title requirements, and preparing CD settlement statements. The associate ensures our home buyers are satisfied with our service and develops/participates in marketing to attract and retain clients. Escrow Closing Assistants maintain and organize the office lobby while courteously, cheerfully, and professionally welcome all guests. They answer and assist incoming telephone callers with polished telephone etiquette and create a positive image of Lennar Title.
YourResponsibilities On The Team
- 5+ years experience as an Escrow Closing Assistant or Escrow Officer
- Ability to process cash, loan, refinance and other transactions independently from contract execution to closing
- Ability to spot potential closing issues and resolve them timely and professionally
- Prioritizes and meets deadlines and handles multiple tasks
- Performs assigned clerical duties
- Regularly monitors office supplies and orders needed supplies
- Maintains log books
- Printer and copier administration and maintenance
- Mailing, postage, and distribution of mail
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Reception and/or customer service training preferred
- Microsoft Office experience required
Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities/joint sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds.
Occasional operation of construction equipment and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and calculator may be required.
We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an hourly rate of $18.00 to $31.00, subject to adjustment based on business‑related factors such as employee qualifications and geographic pay differentials. This position may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, and benefits in accordance with company policy.
