Senior Electrical Project Manager​/Estimator

Electrical Lead Project Manager and Sr. Estimator This person will build, manage and maintain the project as well as provide full scale estimates

• Prepare detailed estimates, including quantity takeoffs, labor and material pricing, and supplier quotes
• Develop budgets, alternates and value-engineering options from conceptual or partial drawings
• Lead awarded projects from kickoff through closeout, overseeing schedules, budgets and procurement
• Coordinate manpower and sequencing with field leadership to keep jobs on track
• Serve as the main point of contact for owners, general contractors and design partners
• Process submittals, RFIs, change orders and monthly progress billing
• Track job costs and forecast project profitability
• Coordinate permits and inspections, and visit jobsites to monitor progress and quality
• Assemble closeout documentation, including as-builts and O&M manuals
• Support as needed

• Proven background estimating and/or managing commercial electrical construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and scope documents
• Working knowledge of requirements and local code standards
• Strong grasp of labor productivity, material pricing and job cost control
• Clear, professional communicator comfortable working with owners, general contractors and field crews
• 3+ years of electrical estimating or project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent trade experience accepted
• Valid driver's license required; journeyman electrician background or electrical certification is a plus
• Design-build experience and familiarity with California Title 24 energy standards are a plus
