Position Overview: Infant Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating atmosphere for infants aged 6 weeks to 36 months. The teacher will design and implement age-relevant activities that support physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development while maintaining strong communication with parents and team members.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience working with infants and/or toddlers.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong communication, patience, and a nurturing personality.
  • Knowledge of child development, health, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to pass background check and TB screening.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide responsive, individualized care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, napping, and comfort.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities that align with child development best practices.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and families to support each child’s growth and development.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in accordance with licensing regulations and school standards.
  • Observe and document children’s progress, communicate with families, and participate in parent-teacher conferences as needed.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to plan activities and maintain consistency across classrooms.
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
