• Tutor students in English for grades K through 11th.
• Teach lessons in reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
• Use provided teaching materials and curriculum.
• Grade homework, tests, and essays (no work required outside class time).
• Maintain student progress records.

• At least sophomore standing in a college or university.
• Strong knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and English usage.
• Ability to follow instructor guidance and work as a team member.
• Ability to work independently and conduct a class on one’s own.
• Ability to teach students in a caring and confident manner.
• Experience in a tutorial program is preferred, but not required.
• Special consideration for those who want to become teachers.

• 6 – 10 hrs per week, at least one weekday and one weekend day.
• Weekday shifts: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
• Weekend shifts: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

$25.00 per hour
