Math Teacher

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality math instruction aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem‑solving and mathematical reasoning.
• Assess student learning using formative and summative assessments to guide instructional decisions.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of all students.
• Provide academic support, tutoring and enrichment opportunities as needed.
• Integrate technology and hands‑on learning experiences to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators and families to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance and communication.
• Create a positive, inclusive and growth‑oriented classroom environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education or a related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Education or Mathematics (preferred).
• Valid California Teaching Credential in Mathematics (Single Subject) or Multiple Subject with math emphasis (required).
• Prior experience teaching math at the elementary or middle school level (preferred).
• Strong classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and use data to inform teaching practices.
• Proficiency with educational technology tools and math instructional software.
