System Engineer ; Life Sciences

Job Description : Our client, a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences, is looking for “System Engineer I” based out of Pleasanton, CA. Duration:
Long-Term Contract (High possibility of extension)

Participate in technical projects per the client’s Life Cycle Management and product development processes.

• After introduction to work processes, begins to organize, conduct and monitor laboratory experiments utilizing established and published procedures, and technical and theoretical understanding. Knowledge of PCR, Assay design would be a plus.
• Evaluates new equipment and techniques.
• Carry out tasks as necessary to run test campaigns to verify requirements and design specifications, and ensure conformance to intended use of products.
• Collect, analyze, and develop report packages to support system verification and validations, and compile content for regulatory submissions.
• With guidance, analyzes and brainstorms alternative approaches to solve problems and find solutions.

• B.S. / M.S. with Bio-medical engineering or Bio-engineering
• 0-3 years of industry experience
• Preferred – Medical device experience
