About the Role

We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Electrical Engineer with strong PCBA experience and exposure to supplier quality. This hybrid role blends hands‑on electrical engineering with quality support across PCBA builds, incoming inspection, and supplier issue resolution. It’s a strong fit for someone who enjoys hardware work, understands how boards are built and tested, and wants experience across both product development and supplier quality—without requiring senior‑level design ownership.

Key Responsibilities Electrical Engineering (50–60%)
  • Support electrical testing, bring‑up, and PCBA debugging
  • Review schematics, layouts, assembly drawings, and create test documentation
  • Execute board‑level validation and record accurate test data
  • Assist with component evaluations and engineering change updates
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting during prototype and development builds
  • Collaborate with systems, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams
Supplier Quality Engineering (40–50%)
  • Provide technical feedback to suppliers on PCBA build quality and assembly issues
  • Support incoming inspection and identify workmanship or electrical concerns
  • Assist with NCRs, issue tracking, and quality documentation
  • Participate in DFM reviews and provide actionable feedback
  • Help drive corrective actions and verify effectiveness through electrical testing
  • Review supplier test reports, workmanship standards, and spec compliance
  • Maintain quality records and support quality system requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience with PCBAs, electrical assemblies, or electronics manufacturing
  • Ability to interpret schematics, layouts, and BOMs
  • Hands‑on experience with test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supplies)
  • Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing processes and component‑level troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to supplier quality processes, DFM feedback, NCRs, or corrective actions
  • Knowledge of standards such as IPC‑A‑610 or ISO 9001
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers or external suppliers
  • Background in FA, RCA, or reliability activities (not required, but beneficial)
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Comfortable balancing both engineering and quality responsibilities
  • Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and confident communicating with suppliers
  • Enjoys PCBA‑level technical work and identifying issues early in the build cycle
  • Strong problem‑solver who thrives in fast‑paced development environments
  • Interested in growing into electrical, manufacturing, or quality engineering pathways
