This position is an onsite opportunity in the Heart Failure Division.

In the Heart Failure (HF) business, we’re developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. • Lead the division Gross Margin Improvement program, including execution of large scale / high impact initiatives and reporting of progress to Executive Steering committee.
• Design and lead projects for long-term value creation;
  Determine the ‘what must happen/stay on track’;
• Establish and evaluate key metrics;
• Drive results through innovative value creation and initiatives for continuous, measurable improvements
• Collaborate and influence across site and function leadership and staff to assign goals, develop project funnels, support execution, and manage / mitigate risks.
• Develop & deploy sustaining tools and processes.
• Ensure that high impact programs are defined, resourced and implemented to achieve financial objectives.
• Perform benchmarking to define significant opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with all Division Sites and Functions to support the HF journey.
• Develop roadmap for HF to achieve COGS glide milestones for key products.

• Bachelors Degree/Masters Degree preferred:
  Engineering, Materials Science
• Minimum 10 years of working in the industry in which an Abbott business competes
• Proven history of critical thinking and problem solving, providing insights and delivering tangible results
• Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad financial and non‑financial audience
• Experience leading large and complex projects with global team members of various levels of management, including Executive-level
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt preferred
• PMP preferred
